The Publication Alerts engine is designed so that end users can build data driven, automated notifications based on their analytics and reports.
Users create an alert template with the content of their choice. The point-and-click functionality allows the insertion of data driven text into the document as well as links to live analytic content.
Each alert is given a status that is driven based on trigger logic derived from data driven results in analytics and reports.
Once the alert is created, users schedule the alert to be automatically launched, rendered and distributed at selected times, locations and for selected recipients.

To start the process, users need to start a template using the Alerts designer.
