Slicers

Slicers are used to filter key members of the data model at runtime. Slicers are created in the main client application and are described in detail in the main client help. When working with Data Discovery or Story Board in the light client, you can use pre-built slicers to choose values interactively at runtime.

In the example below, two slicers are shown:

• Promotions - This slicer allows you to select a value by clicking one of the three buttons.
• Products - This slicer allows you to select a value from a drop-down box.
